Platform

We work in Windows XP Professional mainly because IBM computers are more compatible with our local clients and internet contacts. We have years of experience with the industry standard Macintosh computer as well. The design process is the same for both platforms, and all the programs listed perform equally as well for both IBM and MAC computers. High-end printers and service bureaus can handle files from both platforms.

Applications

Adobe Illustrator CS3
Adobe Illustrator is the program of choice for graphic designers at ADO Designs. Many artist barely scratch the surface of Illustrator's potential, but we take advantage of the powerful features this program offers.

Adobe Flash & Dreamweaver
We are the most comfortable using Dreamweaver and creating CSS to develop sites. We use Flash to build animations, ads, etc. and are developing our skills to build full Flash sites for those clients who require it.

Adobe Acrobat
We own the full version of Adobe Acrobat CS3 for easy file sharing and manipulation.

Adobe Photoshop CS3
This is truly the powerhouse of Adobe products. An artist can design from scratch or alter photos dramatically to suit his creative preferences. Artists at ADO Designs are adept at using the advanced features of this program.

Adobe Indesign CS3
All page layouts for multi-page catalogs and books are created in Adobe In design CS. We achieve maximum file compatibility by using primarily Adobe products.

Quark Xpress
We do own an older version of Quark Xpress, and we used this program for years before converting to Adobe Indesign. We will update and work in Quark Xpress in special circumstances.
